BİL Schools Measurement and Evaluation Coordinator; Is a multi-step systematic process involving the collection, analysis and interpretation of data on educational activities conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of measurement and evaluation, teaching and learning in an educational sense.

Result-oriented assessments (papers, tests, etc.) will not give the desired result without process-oriented assessments (portfolio, performance, project, concept maps, etc.).

MEASUREMENT EVALUATION OBJECTIVES

OUR WORKS
  • Measures the level of readiness of students at the beginning of each academic year,
  • Provides the development of research techniques appropriate to the classes of pupil learning levels and achievements measured during the year,
  • By conducting needs analysis, we organize trainings about measurement evaluation and program development in our schools,
  • Workshops for TEOG, YGS and LYS are organized,
  • TEOG to 5-6-7-8th grade students, YGS-LYS to 9-10-11-12th grade students to prepare for the current system. With these experiments, the aimed behaviors to be acquired in the units are measured and the level of attainment of these desired behaviors is analyzed,
  • All statistics and reports generated are shared with the students, teachers, parents and other stakeholders of the specified education through the E-BİL automation system,
  • Academic-based in-service training schemes to support teachers' professional development,
  • Following the innovations and developments in the field of measurement and evaluation; Provide the integration of new approaches to BİL Schools,
  • Develops measurement tools that consist of highly reliable and validated questionnaires,
  • Provides scientific support to sections on testing techniques such as examining test questions from departments, the cascade of cognitive behavior and how these steps can be measured, and how the validity of an exam or test can be improved;
  • The questionnaire used in the exams makes question analysis that determines characteristics such as discrimination and difficulty values, distribution of answers to choices,
  • Plans and practices to determine the performances of school administrators, departments and teachers,
  • To support the guidance surveys applied in the school and also to evaluate the results of the surveys and satisfaction surveys (parent-student-service-clothing-cafeteria-club etc.)
MEASURING TOOLS USED IN EDUCATION

By measuring and evaluating the design of the new program based on the constructivist approach, not only the learning product but also the learning process of the students are followed. The focus is on the process as well as on the process. For this reason, continuous measurement and evaluation activities are carried out at every stage of teaching, not just at the end of teaching.
